Three Boy Scouts from Galway earn their Eagle Scouts ranking

GALWAY — Three Boy Scouts from Galway Troop 5 Boy Scouts have recently become Eagles Scouts.

Luke Burgess, son of Keith and Pat Burgess and a 2016 graduate of Galway High School, built an organizational storage unit for the Galway Library children’s program when the youngsters use Little Bits exploration kits as his Eagle project.

Chad Sherman, son of Lance and Suzanne Sherman and a 2017 graduate of Galway High School, built a storage shed for equipment for the Providence Volunteer Fire Company as his project.

Greg Alden, son of Gregory and Jen Alden and 2018 graduate of Galway High School, cleaned up and repaired the historic Carpenter family plot in Barkersville Cemetery as his project.
