Caroga Lake Music Festival set for Aug. 19
GLOVERSVILLE — The Caroga Lake Music Festival brunch and concert will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 19, in the gallery at the Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts, 2736 Route 30. The cost is $35 per-person, according to a news release.
The brunch menu will include quiche, stuffed French toast, bacon, sausage, potatoes, salad greens, refreshments and desserts, the news release stated.
The Caroga Lake Music Festival is directed by its founder and cellist, Kyle Barrett Price. Inspired by the area and inviting community, each CLMF artist is dedicated to presenting chamber music in the Adirondacks. The CLMF artists have won various prizes at international solo and chamber music competitions and regularly appear in notable media programs, the news release stated.
Caroga Lake welcomes artists from across the world each year. These artists hail from top performance groups and have attended premiere music conservatories, including the Juilliard School, Curtis Institute of Music, Yale School of Music, Cleveland Institute of Music, New England Conservatory and Eastman School of Music, the news release stated.
