New pastor welcomed at church

Fronzek

JOHNSTOWN –The Rev. Benjamin J. Fronzek will become the new minister at the Church of Christ, starting Jan. 1.

Fronzek grew up in the Clifton Park area and is a graduate of Shenendehowa High School and Hudson Valley Community College.

His earliest work in the church was serving as a deacon with the Church of Christ in Clifton Park. Feeling a call to full-time ministry, Fronzek later graduated from the Northeast School of Biblical Studies.

His first ministerial work was planting a new church in Saratoga in 1987, where he served for more than 16 years. Ben also worked with a home-based church in Elizabethtown by leading an afternoon/evening worship service.

He later worked at the Queensbury Church of Christ for six years as a co-minister. His most recent ministry work involved planting a church in Granville, where he has served as minister for the last eight and a half years.

He has been married to his wife, Nancy, for 41 years, and has three children: Hannah, Benjamin and Leah.
