Honored for service

Three longtime city of Johnstown employees were honored for their service at a meeting of the Johnstown Common Council Monday night at City Hall. Johnstown Mayor Vern Jackson, left, presented the employees with certificates through the New York Conference of Mayors. Honored from left to right were: DPW working supervisors Wade Hohenforst and Michael Muzzi, both 35 years of service; and Johnstown Fire Chief Bruce Heberer, 30 years of service. Johnstown Senior Citizens Center Director Michelle Jones was also due to be honored, but couldn't attend. (The Leader-Herald/Michael Anich)
