Tree lighting, ceremonies slated
ST. JOHNSVILLE — The village, in cooperation with the Fulton Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce and American Legion Post 168, will welcome the start of the Christmas season on Sunday.
The American Legion will host a chili supper beginning at 3 p.m. at a cost of $3 per person, to be followed by the lighting of the village Christmas tree and carol sing at 5. Gifts will be distributed to children and refreshments served.
Raffle tickets will be sold at the door for two fresh wreaths made by chamber members Bob and Nancy Quackenbush at Quackenbush Trees and Wreaths.
