ALBANY — The Gloversville High School Winter Guard team took second place at the Albany City Winter Guard Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 4.

This year’s performance was titled “Uma Anachronism,” and the choreography allowed the students to portray characters from the past and the present with a blend of humor and pop culture references.

The team has three more performances before the Mid-York Color Guard Circuit Championships, which will be held on April 1 at Shenendehowa High School.

The group is slated to compete at Johnstown High School on March 4 at 4 p.m.
