Clarkson students earn awards
POTSDAM – Clarkson University students from the area received awards at the annual University Recognition Day ceremony in April, a news release said.
Alexander J. Shuster of St. Johnsville, a senior majoring in engineering and management, received the Richard Brady Legro ’82 Memorial Endowed Award for showing commitment to the engineering and management program and to fellow students through academic performance and service, and the Paul Hyde Memorial Award for being an outstanding skier who has contributed leadership and athletic performance to the Clarkson University ski team.
Kyle Z. Pasquariello of Johnstown, a senior majoring in biology and psychology, received the Psychology Research Award for showing excellence in academic studies and research endeavors. He will receive a monetary award and plaque.
Kyle T. Pollak of Johnstown, a senior majoring in mechanical engineering, received the Robert E. Rosati ’52 Award For Excellence in Mechanical Engineering. He received the award for showing outstanding qualities of professionalism, high scholastic achievement, humanity and good citizenship, and for showing outstanding potential for sustained achievement in an engineering career. He will receive $250.
