2024 Community Egg Hunt in Rotterdam

Join the young people of Rotterdam for one of their favorite traditions... a Community Egg Hunt! Try to find the golden egg and maybe you’ll even get a chance to meet Mr. Bunny! There will also be egg decorating and other crafts for the kiddos! Tasty pancakes and other breakfast items will be provided for all in the local community. The free annual Rotterdam Community Center and Messiah Lutheran Church event begins at 10 a.m. this Saturday at 705 Curry Road in Rotterdam.

  • K9 Easter Egg Hunt at Hudson Crossing Park in Schuylerville. Grab your leash, grab your pup and head to Hudson Crossing Park for the best K9 Easter egg hunt around. HCP invites family members of the four legged variety to have a special K9 Easter Egg Hunt all of their own. Plastic eggs are “hidden” throughout the park and packed with treats courtesy of Lazy Dog Cookie Company of Ballston Spa. Your donation online is appreciated ($10 per dog suggested donation or feel free to give extra for those who can't). HCP volunteers/Egg Bunnies visit the park throughout the day to refill/re-hide to try to ensure visiting pups have the chance to "hunt.”
  • The 518 Concert Series makes its début with some New Orleans-style funk, featuring NoLaNauts in a show this Saturday at The Glove Theatre in Gloversville. Based in the Albany, area, Nolanauts is a fast rising, high octane, 10-piece rockin’ funk collective fired up about celebrating the joyful historical and contemporary fire of New Orleans music, sharing it with fans of all ages while creating a vibrant party atmosphere wherever they go.Stageside table seats are $25, and general admission tickets are $20. The show begins at 7 p.m. at The Glove Theatre, 42 North Main Street in Gloversville.
