Amanda Brong, the daughter of Karl and Joyce Brong of Millerstown, Pa., was united in marriage to William Ford Jr., the son of William Sr. and Deborah Ford of Johnstown, on Aug. 27.
The ceremony took place at St. Bernard Catholic Church. Deacon Gerry Robinson officiated.
The maid of honor was Nicole Brong of Pennsylvania, sister of the bride. The bridal attendants were Karla and Samantha Brong and Melissa Bendorf of Pennsylvania, sisters of the bride; Hannah Railing of Pennsylvania and Jennifer Achenbach of Virginia. The flower girls were Molly Carper; and Reagan Bendorf, niece of the bride.
The best man was Ian Bendorf of Pennsylvania. The groomsmen were Scott Ford of Alabama, brother of the bridegroom; Reed Mayer, Trevor Olphin and Chris Anderson of Pennsylvania. The ringbearers were Gavin and Jackson Bendorf, nephews of the bride.
Brong graduated from Messiah College with a bachelor’s degree. She is employed as a registered nurse at Holly Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, Pa.
Ford received a bachelor’s degree from York College. He is employed as a network implementation technician at MY CU Services, Harrisburg, Pa.
The couple resides in Millerstown, Pa. They will be taking a wedding trip this month.
