Megan Elizabeth Smith, the daughter of Mary and Edward Smith of Liverpool, Onondaga County, and granddaughter of Margaret Rozwod of Liverpool and Doris Smith of Johnstown, was united in marriage to Thomas William Naber, the son of Amy and Tom Naber of Hamburg, Erie County, on Oct. 8, 2016.
The ceremonty took place at St. Joseph the Worker Church, Liverpool. The Rev. Charles Major, retired pastor of St. Joseph’s, officiated.
The maid of honor was Cara Lamberson. The bridesmaids were Rebecca Naber, sister of the bridegroom, Rachael Rutledge, Kit Jelonek, Danielle Petti and Missy Vetranoe.
The best man was Sean Adamchick. The groomsmen were Tom Smith, brother of the bride, Carl Lam and Aaron Dorfman. The readers for the ceremony were Elizabeth Novakowski, godmother of the bride, Joanne McAllister, aunt of the bridegroom, and Margaret Rozwod, mother of the bride. The cantor was Molly Saper.
A reception, following the ceremony, took place in the Persian Terrace at the Hotel Syracuse, Onondaga County.
A wedding trip is planned through the northeastern United States in the summer. The couple reside in Buffalo, Erie County.
The bride is a graduate of Liverpool High School and the State University of New York at Geneseo, Livingston County. She is employed as a technology associate at Aspire of Western New York.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Hamburg High School and SUNY Geneseo. He is a math teacher in the Amherst School District, Erie County.
