Elacqua — Bosworth

Christina Elacqua, the daughter of Anthony and Julia Elacqua of Utica, Oneida County, was united in marriage to Ryan Bosworth, the son of Leslie Buggeln-Bosworth and David Bosworth of Johnstown, at 4:30 p.m. June 17.

The ceremony took place at St. Mary of Mount Carmel-Blessed Sacrament Church, Utica. The Rev. James Cesta and the Rev. Joseph Salerno officiated.

The bride was escorted by her parents.

The maid of honor was Jillian Tuttle of New York City. The bridesmaids were Sara Elacqua of Saratoga and Francesca Pardi of Niskayuna, Schenectady County, sisters; Sophia Elacqua of Utica and Marissa Izykowski of Ballston Spa, Saratoga County, cousins.

The best man was Matthew Bosworth of Johnstown, brother. The ushers were Brian Miller of Ballston Spa, Russel Pedrick of Amsterdam, Brian Ratajczak of Williamsport, Pa. and Nicholas Rathbun of Denver, Colo.

A reception for 250 guests took place at Radisson Utica Centre, Utica.

A wedding trip to Hawaii will take place in 2017. The couple is residing in Utica and will be moving to their new home this month.

The bride received a registered nursing degree in 2009 from St. Elizabeth’s, a bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2015 from Grand Canyon University and is working toward a nurse practitioner degree. She is an oncology nurse at St. Luke’s, Utica.

The bridegroom received an associate degree in 2007 from Herkimer County Community College. He is in data processing and logistics at Walmart Distribution in Marcy, Oneida County.
