Darling — Pelosi
Kelly L. Darling, the daughter of Marilyn Andrews of Amsterdam and stepfather Daniel Andrews, the late Pierson F. Easterly, stepfather and the late Timothy M. Madden, father, was united in marriage to Richard T. Pelosi, the son of the late Joan Pelosi and the late Thomas Pelosi of Johnstown, at 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 24.
The ceremony took place at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Amsterdam. Pastor William Hodgetts officiated.
The bride was escorted by her parents, Marilyn and Daniel Andrews.
The matron of honor was Elaine Christen of Manchester, N.H. The maid of honor was Briahna Darling of Fort Johnson. The bridesmaids were Kimberly Pelosi of St. Johnsville, daughter of the bridegroom; Lisa Schuyler and Lisa Chatterton, both of Gloversville; and Laura Hoffer of Fonda. The junior bridesmaids were Noelle Christen and Annalina Christen of Manchester, nieces of the bride. The miniature bride was E’lise Hernandz of Manchester, great-niece of the bride.
The best man was Bill Kline of Broadalbin.
The ushers were Logan Darling of Fort Johnson, son of the bride; Roger Snyder of Fort Johnson, uncle of the bridegroom; Mike Bellamy of Hagaman, Kevin Abrams of Gloversville and John Hladik of Johnstown, cousin of the bridegroom.
A reception for 100 guests took place at Harold’s Restaurant, Gloversville.
A wedding trip took place in Niagara Falls, Canada.
The bride received an associate degree from Fulton-Montgomery Community College. She works at New York Central Mutual Fire Insurance Co., Amsterdam.
The bridegroom received an associate degree in criminal justice. He works at the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department, Fultonville.
