Ashley Ann Lane, the daughter of Mark and Marianne Lane of Canajoharie, was united in marriage to Robert Andrew Yurketwich, the son of Lynn Coppess of East Hampton, Suffolk County, on Oct. 18.

The ceremony took place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Cooperstown, Otsego County. The Rev. John P. Rosson officiated.

The bride was escorted by her father.

The matron of honor was Emily Heiser of Canajoharie, sister of the bride. The bridal attendants were Kristen Dusold of Los Angeles, Calif., cousin of the bride; Anne Baldwin of Bloomfield, N.J.; Emily Tolzien of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and Samantha Simpson of Lexington, Ky. The flower girl was Sofia Heiser, niece of the bride.

The best man was Robert Bainis of East Hampton. The groomsmen were Kevin Dusold of Nazareth, Pa., cousin of the bride; Travis Heiser of Canajoharie; and Robert Molter of Riverhead, Suffolk County. The ringbear was Aiden Yurketwitch, son of the bridegroom.

A reception was held at The Otesaga Resort Hotel, Cooperstown.

The couple resides in Union City, N.J., with their son, Grayson Yurketwich.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Canajoharie High School and received a bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising in 2008 from the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York City. She is the marketing director at Showroom 35, Manhattan.

The bridegroom is a 1995 graduate of East Hampton High School and is a general contractor in the New York City and New Jersey area.
