Charles-King

Ashley Ann Charles, the daughter of Karen and James Longfritz of Johnstown, was united in marriage to Andrew Nicholas King, the son of Stephen and Marguerite King of Gloversville, at 2 p.m. Sept. 27, 2014.

The ceremony took place at Pine Lake Park, Caroga Lake. Fulton County Surrogate Judge Richard Giardino, who retired earlier this month, officiated.

The matron of honor was Holly Nellis. The maid of honor was Jackie Atkins. The bridal attendants were Christine Carpenter, Giovonte D’Antonino, Teri Acquilla, Brittany Suchy and Jessica Valls. The flower girl was Amelia Nellis.

The best man was Kyle Malatino. The ushers were Frankie Charles and Joshua Longfritz, brothers of the bride; Casey Maitland, Richard Charles and Dennis Mertins. The ringbearer was Colin Suchy.

A reception for 150 guests took place at Pine Lake Park.

A wedding trip took place in Italy. The couple is residing in Johnstown.

The bride graduated from Johnstown High School and is employed at the Target Distribution Center.

The bridegroom graduated from Gloversville High School and then served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is employed at Von Roll USA.
