Perth Senior group releases meeting minutes

PERTH — The Perth Seniors held their meeting at 10:45 a.m. March 14.

President Anita Bush opened the meeting.

The prayer, “The Lord’s Prayer” was led by Marshall Leggiero.

There were 13 in attendance.

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Marshall Leggiero.

Hello to your Neighbor took place.

The birthdays for March will be announced at the March 28, meeting.

The secretary’s report was given by Rose Matthews. The treasurer’s report was given by Mary Stachnik. Both were accepted.

The kitchen report was given by Wanda Crosbie

The membership report was by Sylvia Zierak.

The sunshine report by Fran Smith sent one birthday and one get well card.

The special events given by Audrey Flint. The anniversary party will be held at noon April 18, at Nicholino’s, Route 30. The menu choice, chicken marsala, top sirloin with gravy and baked haddock. The cost is $6 per member; $17 for non-members.

Correspondence: Liberty Amsterdam dinner will be May 2, at the River Stone, Scotia.

New business: Scams — be careful of them.
